Stuff, substance and shipments here in Haiti
And so we are, finally, here, with almost all of our belongings here in Haiti.
The sense of being here is heightened by the boxes – and boxes, and boxes – of ‘stuff’ that arrived here from Antwerp. We’ve barely got out from under the deluge. Only to find that the news is rattling along apace. Swiftly, too swiftly almost to keep pace.
Pervez Musharraf is now likely to regret his misplaced sense of destiny – and his return to his country, Pakistan. Will the former General-President (or President-General be clapped in prison?)
And they’re warning against two people believed dangerous in Boston.
What does any of that mean?
Perhaps it’s a lot like our stuff. With form and substance. Hard to unpack. Difficult to fathom the depths.
